An Ode to Capos
I simply felt like recording some stuff just in case I come down with ALS and need to prove later on that I could play the guitar, but I probably should've planned what I was going to say.
Most guitarists that take the instrument too seriously look down on capos as a way of "cheating," and I demonstrate that I used to take that perspective, too, by playing "Don't Think Twice, It's Alright" without a capo.
Then, I demonstrate how I learned to stop worrying and love the capo by using one in my arrangements of "Body and Soul," "Take the A Train," and "My Little Suede Shoes."
